Half /Full Day Experience

Get ready for this Half Day Horse Drawn Carriage Experience with Ploughman's Lunch for Two in the beautiful village of skipwith.

Learn and get hands on with the horses from preparing feeds and grooming to catching the horses from the field and preparing the stables. You’ll learn all about the harness before the team take you on a one hour ride, where you’ll get a chance to grab the reins.

Back at the stables, untack the horses, wash them down and return them to the field. With drinks available throughout and a traditional Ploughman’s lunch on offer, this is a great day out for any horse lover.

• What happens on the day?

• On arrival at Little Skipwith Carriage rides, you’ll be warmly welcomed and meet the team. You’ll get stuck in helping with the horses, from preparing feeds and grooming to preparing the stables. You’ll learn all about the harness before the team take you on a one hour ride, where you’ll get a chance to grab the reins. Back at the stables, untack the horses, wash them down and return them to the field. Round off your adventure with a traditional Ploughman’s lunch. The day will last around 3 hours
